Inventory
See the balance before you save, every movement kept
Inventory
The Inventory system keeps track of what is in the foundation's warehouses: the warehouses, items and units of measure, every receipt, issue, transfer and adjustment, and each item's current balance. It also manages the in-kind baskets given to the guests of God through disbursement vouchers from the Beneficiaries system.
Who it is for: For storekeepers and programme and project staff who record movements, and for executive management and internal audit, who view them.
The system in a minute
What it offers
-
Stock movements
Receipts, issues, transfers and adjustments, with a panel showing the balance before and after each movement before it is saved.
-
Weighted average cost
Recalculated with every priced receipt, and visible only to users allowed to see inventory cost.
-
Minimum levels and reorders
Each item has a minimum level, and the dashboard lists the items that need reordering.
-
Distribution baskets
Baskets with their items and quantities are issued through a beneficiary voucher, which deducts stock from the warehouse when executed.
What sets it apart
-
Movements that stay
A saved movement is never edited or deleted; mistakes are corrected with a new adjustment that leaves a visible trail.
-
Linked to procurement
Purchase receipts wait on the dashboard and are recorded in a form already filled with their items, quantities and order number.
-
A statement for every item
Every movement with its effect and the balance after it, with balances and movements exported to Excel.
