Knowledge management

An answer written once, found by everyone who looks

Knowledge management

The Knowledge Management system gathers what staff need into one library: user guides, forms, frequently asked questions, lessons learned and approved policies. It also holds the Guests of God Academy with its courses and certificates, and the multilingual guide that answers visitors in their own language from approved texts.

Who it is for: For every employee looking for an answer, and for the knowledge officers who write and publish articles and run the academy and the guide.

The system in a minute

A tour of Knowledge management on its real screens, with sample data. Narrated in Arabic.

What it offers

  • Knowledge library

Search across titles, content and tags, sections for guides, forms and FAQs, the most-read list, and a "Was this helpful?" rating.

  • Publishing and visibility

Articles stay as drafts until approved and published, open to all staff or limited to one department, and every edit keeps its version.

  • Guests of God Academy

Courses with lessons, a question bank and a pass mark, learner enrolment, and certificates for those who pass.

  • Multilingual guide

Visitors scan a QR code, ask in one of seven languages, and see an approved text or have their question passed to a staff member.

What sets it apart

  • Guides from the source

System user guides are synced from their original files, so they always match what was built.

  • Policies from governance

The approved policies section reads straight from the governance register, with each policy's version and update date.

  • Approved text, never improvised

Anything on the rites is shown word for word from the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah guide card, and only after the religious reviewer approves it.
